Undergrowth examines the absence of nature, plants and vegetation within the world of manmade underground environments. The idea of culture and nature in unity is reflected through the use of digital photomontage. Investigating the commodification of land seceding from nature’s existence and of the shifting attitude towards human progress in this era.
I am interested in understanding the relationship between today’s cultural demands and the advancement of industrial revolution, land development and expansion that becomes parallel to everyday life where technological advancements meet.
